At NIACC’s Mind Mania, campers will select one exciting session for the morning and another for the afternoon, ensuring a full day of exploration and hands-on learning. Plus, they'll enjoy delicious snacks in the morning and afternoon, along with a tasty lunch to keep them energized.  

Morning Classes

Farm to Fork for Kids
In this hands-on session, campers will discover how food goes from the farm to their fork! Through interactive cooking sessions, taste tests, and local farm tours, campers will learn about seasonal ingredients, sustainable food practices, and the journey of different foods from production to plate. They’ll explore fresh ingredients, make delicious recipes, and gain a deeper appreciation for where their food comes from—all while having a blast in the kitchen!  

Drone Tech Explorers
Where young innovators get the chance to dive into the fascinating world of drones! This session is designed for students who are eager to learn about drone technology, flight principles, and the many applications of drones in various fields. Highlights include Drone Basics, Flight Training, Drone Applications, Team Challenges, and Innovation. By the end of the camp, participants will have a solid understanding of drone technology, improved piloting skills, and a newfound appreciation for the innovative applications of drones in the real world.  

The Art Lab
Unleash your creativity and explore the world of two-dimensional art! In this engaging summer camp, artists will experiment with a variety of techniques, including watercolor resist, scientific observation drawing, and painting on burlap. Campers will also design and create their own mosaic pavers and even learn how to sew on top of their paintings for unique mixed-media masterpieces. With a blend of color, texture, and imagination, this camp is designed for kids who love to draw, paint, and create. This camp is perfect for exploring your artistic discovery and self-expression!  

Mind Mania Mind Cave
This STEM course offers a thrilling fusion of science, technology, engineering, and math, designed to ignite creativity and problem-solving skills in young minds. Campers will dive into a world of hands-on experiments, coding challenges, engineering projects, and mathematical puzzles. Campers minds and hands will stay very busy in this course!  

Afternoon Classes

Ultimate Athlete
Love a variety of athletic sports and can't just choose one? Each day of camp will focus on one sport with games and other activities will be centered around the "sport of the day." Lace up your shoes and join in on the fun!  

Creative Dimensions
Get ready to bring your creativity to life! In this hands-on summer camp, artists will explore the exciting world of 3D art by building, sculpting, and painting. Campers will learn how to craft amazing paper-maché creations, design and paint recycled robots and knights, and make paintings that pop right off the canvas. Through fun and engaging projects, they'll develop new artistic skills while using a variety of materials to turn imagination into reality. Join us for a summer of shaping, molding, and creating in 3D!  

Spirit All-Stars
The perfect way for campers to experience our unique mix of dance and cheer! Campers will create their own cheer bows and spirit signs to help cheer on the session. This class is the perfect combination of dance moves, jumps, and motion. No prior cheerleading or dance experience is required as our amazing coach focuses on the FUN of learning new routines!
